LAMESA, TEXAS

The Trade Corridor Crossing

Lamesa, TX is located in the Permian Basin along U.S. 87 between Lubbock and Midland. Located in the center of Dawson County, U.S. 180 runs east to west through the center of Lamesa, U.S. 87 and Texas 137 runs north and south through the community.

Lamesa is home to many industries, including Sam Stevens, Inc., U.S. Silica, TDCJ Preston E. Smith unit, and an array of retail, hospitality and dining businesses. Through these local  businesses, Lamesa continues to see a strong future as the Permian Shale Basin continues to gain robust sustainability. 

The city of Lamesa is also an essential member of the Ports-to-Plains Alliance, a developing corridor connecting Canada to Central Mexico.
